The Northern Governors Discussion board has recommended the efforts of Sen. Kashim Shettima towards ending insurgency in the north-eastern a part of Nigeria.
The discussion board made the commendation in a remark by means of its chairman and governor of Plateau, Mr Simon Lalong, to congratulate Shettima on his 56th birthday.
The remark was once issued by Lalong’s Spokesperson Dr Makut Macham on Friday in Jos.
Lalong stated that Shettima was resilient to end insurgency in the north-eastern a part of Nigeria and carried out his perfect impactful initiatives in spite the assaults from Boko Haram insurgents when he was the governor of Borno.

In line with the remark, the discussion board notes his honesty, dexterity, diligence, resilience and dedication to serve and unite other people without reference to tribe, faith and political variations.
The chairman urged Shettima to remain loyal, humble and focused on building a greater Nigeria even as he had been chosen to be the running mate for the All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate Bola Tinubu.
He wished him many more years of God’s blessings, good health and divine protection.
