President Muhammadu Buhari has authorised the appointment of Senator Oladipo Olusoga Odujinrin, MFR, as Part-Time Board Chairman of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) for an preliminary time period of 4 years.
Odujinrin’s appointment takes effect from 6 Oct. 2020, the Nation reports on Wednesday.
Earlier than his appointment, Odujinrin had been a member of the Board of the National Company for the Control of AIDS in 2018.
He was promoted to the place of Appearing Board Chairman when the previous Chairman of the Company, Her Excellency Dame Pauline Tallen was appointed the Minister of the Federal Republic.
Odujinrin was the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1983.
He has headed many public establishments in several capacities together with Chairman, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa from April 2013-2015 and Chairman, Nigerian General Insurance Company Restricted (1967-68).
