Oshiomhole officially declares 2023 presidential bid and promise to create 20m jobs

The former Edo state Governor and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, on Wednesday formally declared his 2023 presidential ambition.

Adams Oshiomhole, who spoke to the party supporters at the Cyprian Ekwensi Centre for Arts and Culture in Abuja, vows to create 20 million jobs for Nigerians if elected the country’s President next year.

In his statement , “we need to imbibe the logic of producing what we consume and consume what we produce. That should not be. There should be a space for our intelligent youth”.

“Local production must be revived. We must be compelled to manufacture what we produce and produce what we manufacture. That way, there will be decent jobs for the unemployed”.

“This is not hard to do as a country because we have all we need. We only need courageous leadership to turn our enviable resources around. We need strong economic policies for things to work as expected.”
