NDDC: Fayose advises Buhari to sack Akpabio, Pondei right away

Previous Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has exhorted President Muhammadu Buhari to sack Godswill Akpabio, minister of Niger Delta Affairs.

He likewise engaged him to find a way to end the corruption in NDDC by sacking Prof. Kemebradikumo Pondei, the acting the acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

Fayose offered the advice in a tweet by means of his official Twitter handle on Friday.

He expressed: “With this degree of extortion uncovered in NDDC, Buhari must sack Akpabio now. The President can’t keep on regarding plundering of open treasury as a family undertaking and his battle against corruption as an instrument of oppression against resistance figures.

“By keeping in his govt the likes of Akpabio and the NDDC MD, Prof Pondei, who went about celebrating the success of their National Assembly drama with hot pepper soup and assorted drinks, the President will only be reinforcing the conclusion that he supports corruption.”
