How Goodluck Jonathan saved Nigeria in 2015 – Dino Melaye

Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, on Tuesday stated ex-President Goodluck Jonathan saved Nigeria from destruction when he conceded defeat.

Melaye stated Jonathan’s telephone call to President Muhammadu Buhari where he conceded defeat saved Nigeria from destruction.

The previous lawmaker made the remark while apologising for the attacks on Jonathan in 2015.

Speaking at an event in Abuja, Melaye wondered why Jonathan made the phone name.

According to Melaye: “I Senator Dino Melaye, I wish to say openly right here that after many issues which have occurred and events which have unfolded in current instances, I wish to say overtly right here that after I used to be blind, now I can see.

“President Goodluck Jonathan, I wish to say that on behalf of all of us who shot blindly, we’re sorry.

“The one which I later wondered why you probably did was that phone call.

“I sometimes wondered that if you had not made that call, we might not be where we’re at this time.

“However after I noticed what is going on in America, the place President Trump is saying ‘I no go gree,’ I can now see the reason for that call.

“There are only a few individuals such as you. I pray for that anointing.”
