Governors Who Defect To APC Lack Conscience – Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday said his counterpart who dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress lacks conscience.

The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, on Tuesday officially confirmed his defection to the APC.

Wike while speaking at the flag-off of Woji-Aleto-Alesa-Refinery Road and bridge on Tuesday, said those defecting from PDP after winning through the party’s platform are hopeless and shameless human beings.

The River State Governor said, “People who could not win ordinary election. The party used technicality and went to court and got victory. Now, they say they are leaving the party. Hopeless, shameless human beings. People who have no conscience.”

He further stated that no amount of blackmailing or intimidation will make him leave the PDP and join the ruling party.

“Bring everything you have against me, I will not join you. Rivers state will not join you. Even if it is only Rivers state in this country, we will continue to be Peoples Democratic Party,” he said.
