Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has put an end to the operations of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, this was made know to Politics360.
This was contained in an announcement titled, “NGF Commends IGP on FSARS Ban,” signed by the Chairman of the NGF, Governor Kayode Fayemi, which was made knwn to journalist in Abuja, on Monday.

He acknowledged, “The Nigeria Governors’ Forum acquired with good support and pleased the selection by the Inspector-General of Police, M.A. Adamu, to ban with speedy impression the operations of the Federal Particular Anti-Robbery Squad and a range of completely different tactical squads of the Energy.
Instructions has been given by IGP that FSARS have no right to embark on patrols or arrest anyone.
