Kano state government has now beamed its searchlight on some of the projects initiated and abandoned by the administration of former governor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso In doing this, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s administration has set up a committee to assess all the abandoned 5km road projects awarded by Kwankwaso.
The projects, according to Leadership, cover the 44 local government areas in the state.
Also, Ganduje led state EXCO approved the termination of contract for the construction of multi-million naira Dawakin Tofa 5km carriage way. The project was awarded to Messrs CCECC Nigeria Limited at the cost of N651, 844, 966.51 million.
