Gambari: Buhari Needs My Loyalty, I’ll Give Him My Best

Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Educator Ibrahim Gambari, Wednesday said the president needs his reliability and vowed to be steadfast and serve him as well as could be expected.

He made the promise while responding to inquiries from State House journalists after the main virtual Government Official Gathering (FEC) meeting in the State House where he was officially introduced to the nation.

Gambari expressed gratitude toward the president for allowing him the chance to serve, guaranteeing that he will serve both Nigeria and Buhari as well as could be expected.

“I need to thank the Leader of the Government Republic of Nigeria for allowing me this chance to serve him and of the nation,” he said.

Asked what Nigerians ought to anticipate from him, he stated: “I have not begun. In this way, I will discover and perhaps… I don’t report legitimately to the country. I report straightforwardly to the president.”

Likewise asked what he owes the president, he stated: “I think he needs my dedication, ability and backing.”

He included that his dedication as the head of staff would be “to serve the president as well as could be expected.
