Alhaji Mohammed Shittu, a former presidential candidate has formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shittu contested for the country’s highest office on the platform of the defunctAdvanced People’s Democratic Alliance (APDA). The previous national chairman of APDA took part within the nationwide exercise at his Gwagwa Ward within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, to reveal his loyalty to the party.
Shittu, talking to journalists additionally advocated for a two-party system in Nigeria, saying if adopted, it could assist construct a stronger democracy and increase the nation’s socio-economic life.
