Shehu Sani, previous Kaduna Central Senator, has described the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as a corrupt and fake anti-corruption boss.
Sani alleged that Magu worked to sustain dubious and corrupt politicians while in office.
He stressed that EFCC under Magu was a private army used for persecution and witch-hunting.
In a statement he signed, the former lawmaker said Magu’s suspension has vindicated the 8th Senate led by former Senate President, Bukola Saraki that refused to confirm him as EFCC’s Chairman.
Sani also commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami for initiating the probe against Magu.
