EDO election: INEC advises voters to adhere strictly to Covid-19 protocols

The Electoral Institute (TEI), of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has prompt-planned voters in Edo State to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 protocols guiding the conduct of the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

The counsel was given on Wednesday by Dr. Saad Umar Idris, Director-General of TEI, who said in an explanation that the commission had given the primary valuable to the guidelines and rules for the lead of decisions gave by INEC on 12th January 2019.

The TEI DG who made this known while conveying a goodwill message during Preparing of Trainers (ToT) program for political parties’ agents in Benin City, included that the conventions will stay in power until supplanted by new guidelines and rules, or canceled to some extent or completely by the commission.

As indicated by him, ‘these guidelines and rules for the direct of decisions stay in power until supplanted by new guidelines and rules or revoked partially or completely by the commission. Social separating of 2 meters (6 feet’s will be kept up by all people).
