COVID-19: Reps divided over calls to provide N15bn to each state

Requires the national government to give N15 billion to the 36 states to battle the COVID-19 yesterday made division the house of representative. The call was made by Isiaka Ayokunle (APC, Ogun) while requiring an alteration of a movement moved by the House Head, Alhassan Ado Doguwa.

The administrator called for arrangement of N15bn by government as mediation store to each state and agreed that pertinent panels of the House ought to draw in with the Presidential Team (PTF) on COVID-19 to handle it’s spread.

On his part, Kabiru Idris (APC, Kano) called for one testing community each in all the 744 LGAs in the nation. Contributing, Aisha Dukku (APC, Gombe) encouraged the government to incorporate all partners, including customary and strict pioneers, in the sensitisation of the individuals on COVID-19.

After the supplications, the Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila said the national government would give equivalent mediation store to states in light of the fact that the requirements and number of cases shifted among the states.
