The governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has set up a 47-part board of prominent residents of the state, including three previous governors, to help assemble assets to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Board which is authoritatively known as Ekiti State COVID-19 Reaction Asset Activation Council has the previous minister of Wellbeing, Ruler Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi as Administrator.
The Organiser/Chancellor of the Afe Babalola College, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD), Aare Afe Babalola will fill in as the Amazing Benefactor, while three previous governors of the state were named as Supporters. The three previous governors to fill in as Supporters are Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Boss Segun Oni and Boss Ayodele Fayose.

The Board has as individuals commanders of industry, recognized private division players, eminent experts and unmistakable individuals from Ekiti in the Diaspora.
As indicated by a press proclamation by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Biodun Oyebanji, the advisory group’s order among others, is to activate and prompt on assets and undertaking the board, direct subsidizing efforts for the COVID-19 reaction.
He said the state government would do everything humanly conceivable to contain the spread of the infection in the state while guaranteeing residents of Dr Fayemi-drove organization’s responsibility to responsibility and straightforwardness in the administration of assets prepared.
