Justice Umar Garba of the Federal High Court, Benin City, on Tuesday, dismissed the trail of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Edo State, Minister Osagie Ize-Iyamu, for affirmed N700m fraud till July 14.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) (EFCC) summoned the APC governorship candidate and four others on eight-tally charge of fraud.
Different respondents for the situation are previous chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Dan Orbih; the current chairman, Tony Aziegbemi; a former deputy governor of the state, Lucky Imasuen, and Efe Erimuoghae-Anthony
The commission blamed the respondents for accepting open assets to the tune of N700m for the 2015 general decisions.
Ize-Iyamu, who was relied upon to show up in court on Tuesday, was missing because of sick wellbeing.
Ize-Iyamu’s guidance, Charles Edosomwan (SAN), told the appointed authority that his customer couldn’t make it to the court in light of the fact that was as of now incapacitated.
He implored the appointed authority to permit him to introduce the endorsement of his evil wellbeing as guaranteed by his clinical specialist to the court.
