Buhari, Diri congratulate Jonathan at 63

President Muhammadu Buhar on Thursday, congratulated former President Goodluck Jonathan, on his 63rd birthday.

Buhari’s congratulatory message was contained in a press release titled, “President Buhari greets former President Goodluck Jonathan on 63rd birthday,” signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

The assertion reads partly, “On behalf of the Federal Authorities and Nigerians in general, President Muhammadu Buhari warmly felicitates with former President Goodluck “Jonathan on his 63rd birthday, November 20, 2020, congratulating him for a lifetime of service that has brought honour and goodwill to the nation.”

Additionally, the Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr Douye Diri, his congratulatory message contained in an announcement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Daniel Alabrah, Diri described the previous president as a Nigerian, African and global icon with distinctive democratic credentials that endeared him to many across the world.

He mentioned, “Dr Jonathan is a statesman and patriot of reputation whose legacies in office constantly speak of his unrivalled candour.”
