Buhari approves reappointment of NCC boss, Danbatta

The President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of the Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta.

A statement by the  Spokesperson of the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, Mrs Yes Suleiman, said the  reappointment was based on the recommendation of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami.

While congratulating Danbatta, the minister directed him to significantly improve on the overall performance of the commission  and ensure that adequate mechanisms were put in place to facilitate the implementation of all policies of Federal Government through the ministry.

Patanmi enjoined him to ensure that the  interest of telecommunication consumers, Nigerians and investors were adequately protected.
