Protesters calling for police reforms within the nation and an end to Nigeria’s dreaded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have blocked the Abuja Airport Road.
The protesters, mostly youth, took their campaign to the FCT Airport Highway which serves as a significant entrance and exit to the capital metropolis on Friday afternoon.
The campaign, which has drawn consideration from totally different components of the world, has been on for over every week.
The FCT administration on Wednesday introduced a ban on protests within the capital metropolis, citing well being considerations as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
