BREAKING: Buhari Fires NYSC Director General

The sudden dismissal of Brigadier-General Muhammad Kukah Fadah from his position as the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), as learned by theGazetteNGR, has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari less than six months after he assumed the position.

Meanwhile, the reasons for the sudden sack the Gen. Fadah have not yet been made public.

However, reliable sources in the Villa told PRNigeria that the removal of the NYSC chief is likely related to the fact that Fadah had demonstrated “glaring incompetence” during the six months that he was in charge of the organisation.

In the meantime, reports according to PRNigeria said that the outgoing NYSC Director General has been ordered to hand over control of the corps to the most senior civil servant, who will serve as DG temporarily.

Details later.
