BREAKING: APC opens up on zoning presidential ticket to Northeast

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied speculation of zoning its presidential ticket to Northeast, POLITICS360 reports.

Some media reports had claimed that the Senate President Ahmad Lawan likely to emerge as its presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

Barrister Felix Morka,party’s National Publicity Secretary, mentioned: “There is no such decision made by the National Working Committee (NWC).”

The APC will now hold its special convention to elect its presidential candidate on May 29 and 30 and all political parties have June 3 as the deadline for the conduct of their primaries according to the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
