A recent disclosure by Governor Yahaya Bello indicates that it is possible for a politician from northern Nigeria to become the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after Buhari’s tenure.

The Kogi state governor informed journalists in Abuja on Sunday, March 7, that there is no such thing as a arrangement mandating the APC to zone its presidential ticket to the south after the present administration.
The governor’s stance was contrary to claims by some high-ranking members of the APC who mentioned there’s a zoning arrangement close to the presidential ticket between the north and south.
