Akinwumi Adesina,the African Development Bank,AfDB, has joined the race for the presidential ticket of the ruling party All Progressives Congress, APC.
It’s because a coalition of 28 teams, consisting of Youth Arise Movement, Nigerians in Diaspora, One Nigeria Group, Prudent Youth Association of Nigeria, women groups, farmers, people with disabilities and other civil society groups, raised the N100m fee to purchase the presidential nomination and expression of interest forms for the former agriculture minister.

The coalition is led by means of the Head, One Nigeria Staff, Mohammed Saleh. The transfer put paid to weeks of speculations that some APC chieftains had been mounting force on Adesina to go into the race and that it might be more straightforward to safe presidential acclaim for his bid.
