The All Progressives Congress, APC, has responded to a statement from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP over a latest visit to former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
The PDP, on Sunday afternoon mocked the APC after some its governors visited Jonathan on his birthday last Friday. The opposition party added that the visit was ‘proof’ that Nigeria was higher underneath PDP governance.
In a swift response, the national publicity secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena questioned why the PDP was bothered by the visit.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is clearly rattled and disoriented by the latest courtesy visit by some Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to former President Goodluck Jonathan.”
“Chairman, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni led the APC delegation. At a time when the PDP and its management is grappling with a disaster of confidence, one would anticipate the failed opposition to give attention to choosing itself up.”
“As a party for all progressives, the APC on its half will proceed to consolidate on its national attraction and acceptance.” he mentioned.
