The Peter Obi Toughen group has mentioned the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, is a treat to the ambition of the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
POLITICS360 reports that the Obi network was reacting to the spokesman of the Tinubu campaign Organisation, Bayo Onanuga, who mentioned that Obi is only a social media advent, which goes to fade away before the 2023 general elections.
In an interview with The Punch on Monday, the Spokesperson of the Obi network, Jones Onwuasoanya, mentioned the Tinubu camp was already frightened of the the former Anambra Governor impact role playing on social media.
Jones asserted that Onanuga conceding defeat too early, saying that Obi is a creation of Nigerians and not a social media buzz as claimed.

He added that the LP presidential flagbearer is common for the reason that other folks of Nigeria are satisfied via the message of hope for a brand new Nigeria that he represents.
He added that the LP presidential flagbearer is popular because the people of Nigeria are convinced by the message of hope for a new Nigeria that he represents.
He said, “Onanuga is conceding defeat too early. His statement is an admission of the obvious fact that Peter Obi is dominating social media, and the truth is that social media is where the majority of Nigerians, especially, the youths, who constitute a larger number of those who will be voting in 2023 vent their opinions.
“Fortunately for us in the Peter Obi camp, we are maintaining an unassailable lead on social media. This is the same way we are going to win the election.
“Peter Obi is a creation of Nigerians. He is popular because the people of Nigeria are convinced by the message of hope for a new Nigeria that he represents.
“The same way he is popular on social media is the same way he is popular across the streets in Nigeria. In the most rural parts of Borno, Niger, Adamawa, Osun and every part of the country, Peter Obi is the anthem that you will hear.’
’The social media is not on Mars, it is a communication platform used by Nigerians and these Nigerians are leaving no one in doubt about whom they wish to support as their President in 2023.”
